Dr. Richa always had interest for the human anatomy with all its beauty and complexity. She has been recognized by her mentors and colleagues for her natural skill set with her clinical approach and surgical technique. Dra. Richa completed her General Surgery training at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio before completing her plastic surgery training at the Mayo Clinic.
As part of her plastic surgery training at the Mayo Clinic she had the opportunity to travel to Melbourne, Australia where she worked with Dr. Bryan Mendelson, the world’s leading authority on facial anatomy. She completed a specialized course on advanced facial anatomy and learned novel techniques in facial aesthetics procedures that she now applies in her practice.
Dr. Richa is committed to education and knowledge exchange. She is an active member of the local and international Plastic Surgery Society where she believes that it is our responsibility as physicians to continue to study and be to date with the latest medicine-based information to improve our patient’s outcomes.
